Avaliação da contribuiçãoLove the location and atmosphere; during daylight look at U of C, high trees and midway plaisance are beautiful. My root vegetable soup was cleaned (with cheese, apparently; it was a strange salty taste. Maybe too much cheese? The salmon cake was also too salty, but the salad and the toast that came with him were good. The comminuted surgeons had a nice taste, but were very oily, distracted by their taste and texture. My guest liked their chicken pot cake soup and Crème caramel. I ordered the “Snow Island” (not it is the name, but close, what was huge and very good when you taste lemon balm. I would go back because the service is amazing; the restaurant is beautiful, but I would try more traditional English dishes next time.
We waited half an hour for a bottle of champagne they never found, 20 minutes to get salt. The food was moderate and brought to the table in chaotic times. The prices are absurdly high. You can eat in a top restaurant to the north for much less. The ambience is beautiful and friendly, but they don't have their act together. I'd say go if you don't have an alternative.
Everything was great but the restaurant closed at 8 pm on a Saturday night. Super disappointing for us since we were staying at the hotel and wanting to watch football at the bar.
Very good food. Customer service was great. Wife loved the atmosphere. We will be coming back.
Everything about this place was great! The service and atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. The food and drinks were delicious! We will definitely be returning.
