(sausage links) I've tried other places in town, especially in the GTA. pancake was very plain but i loved it! (chocolate syrup on the side, suggestion? haha) pancake texture and portion was decent since it came with the other parts of the grand slam (breakfast) items.. note to cook that gf said there was a small shell on her eggs, but all's good. my omelet was mushroom with cheese, so you cant screw it up.. was good. would eat here again if we're around.
If I could give half a star, I would. My dinner experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Despite the lack of customers in the restaurant, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the food was very unappetizing - soggy, messy, and with a terrible taste. We were promised fresh food, but it was clear that this was not the case. We ordered the chicken souvlaki, but the chicken looked unappetizing and the seasoning was overpowering. The potatoes were soaked in lemon juice, despite being described as double-roasted and not lemony like traditional Greek roasted potatoes. Neither of us could finish our meals that evening and we have no intention of returning. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.
The breakfast was good and the service was great. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was a pleasant and cozy family restaurant.
This is our go-to spot in the Cobourg area for a fantastic breakfast or lunch. I give everything a perfect 5-star rating. The restaurant is welcoming to families and large groups, with ample parking in the large lot shared with other businesses in the strip mall.
Food was slop, staff was mean, drinks were gross, sauce was vile, they forgot parts of the orders, meals tasted like expired grease, had to get orders redone multiple times, but grandma is happy.
