Millstone Bread - Cobourg

Subway is one of my favourite places to eat on weekdays I am a customer at least 3 days a week.

I love this subway, their "local offerings" are interesting, like the falafel sub! The staff are always so nice, and its a quiet relaxed little store.

The coffee cake has large chunks of a crumbly top, fruit center, rhubarb, I believe. It's light and not too sweet - absolutely perfect. I have never met Doug but the manager and staff are exceptionally friendly. Post script - peanut butter and chocolate cookies are very more-ish.

A fantastic bakery that has a large range of fresh bread made daily. It's not a bad idea to go in early and get the best selection as they turn over their bread quickly.

You can buy freshly baked bread, the variety is changed daily, so a great assortment of very different breads, including glutton free, delicious assortment of baked treats as well, plus an array of assorted olives, dips etc. If you are on the go you can get coffee to go as well.
