KFC - Cobourg

At peak meal times the chicken is fresh and light(ish!) and very good. At off peak times when it is not too busy, the chicken has been no better than average. And be careful what you ask for if looking for a three piece. You may not get a piece with breast, if that's what you are looking for. The service is good but the place very cramped and badly laid out when entering, ordering and picking up. Good parking facilities, close to mid way between lakefront and 401.

The chicken was greases. The fries were over cooked and dry. But the service was great. Very friendly cashier.

How could they not have chicken ready on a Sunday at supper time! Probably 15 of us waiting more than 25 minutes and many more turned away. Let's get your act together folks....although we were offered free drink or ice cream while waiting. Staff very friendly and apologetic though.

I wondered if it was REALLY Chicken. One drumstick did look like a chicken leg, Not sure what the other 2 pieces of the 3 piece meal was, Skimpy on the fries, but they are so much better then they once were. Unbelievable that the 3 piece with a drink came to 10 dollars. Not a place I will go back to anytime soon. ""YUCK""

It's probably the staff that you will remember most about this KFC location. They are very polite and helpful. The food is cooked well (not all greasy and soggy like some KFC locations). Has always been seats available when I go there. Plenty of parking too. Open longer than many other restaurants. Convenient location - same street as the hwy.401 on-ramp.
