Avaliação da contribuiçãoI frequently meet up with a former coworker who is now a friend whenever our schedules allow. We always choose to go to Caffe Nero because we enjoy the relaxing ambiance, comfortable seating, and quality coffee that allows for peaceful conversation.
Every time I visit this coffee franchise, there always seems to be something wrong. On this particular visit, I noticed that the prices quoted on the board were different from what appeared on the till receipt, with an extra charge of 10p for decaf. This lack of clarity is a trading standards issue. Additionally, when I requested pouring cream for my drink, I was informed that they had run out, which has happened before. Despite these issues, the place was nice and the staff seemed attentive. After speaking to management at Fenwick, they addressed the issues and offered a suitable resolution. Overall, my experience would have been 3 stars if not for these drawbacks. This review is based on personal opinions and experiences as a short stop customer for a £3 bill.
I visit Nero's daily and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. They do a fantastic job of keeping us happy and sane. I recommend this place to everyone. Keep up the good work, guys! xxx
Lovely quaint cafe with a good atmosphere selling a nice range of hot cold drinks as well Panini's, sandwiches, hot snacks, cakes biscuits, I was served by a friendly new trainee who made me a very tepid over foamed large cappuccino, I didn't have the heart to take it back to him as it did taste nice enough.
I have been using this place for many years, although sometimes the waiting time sends me elsewhere. Café Nero always sells good tasty coffee. I first experienced it when in Central London several years ago. It was a real surprise, being much more like the coffee you get in Rome, rich aromatic and strong. So much better than the weaker stuff available in the UK Starbucks at the time. So I'm a devotee. Like other chains they serve pre packed sandwiches, which I generally avoid. Why the chains can't manage freshly prepared food like the independents is beyond me. However, on this occasion I'd missed breakfast so I handed the barista a Butchers Sausage Roll. It looked good, in what looked like a good quality bread roll. What a disaster. When it arrived at the table it had been squashed flat. The plump roll been converted to something that had the nature of two thin planks of wood. The steel knife provided was not up to the task of cutting through the roll, and I had to break the bottom piece in half by hand. The one and a half sausage inside was tasty enough, but hardly generous. Why serve excellent coffee but ruin the experience by serving indifferent food? If you're looking for food you'd be better going to Harper's Caffe, more or less next door.
