The Wild Mare - Corvallis

Enjoy our meals (we both ordered Prime Rib), which was cooked as we rarely like it medium. Oh, my God, the Shell Chowder... the BEST we've ever had! The texture was interesting so that we had to ask, and the server said that the cook mashed potatoes instead of potato dumps wow, who knew that this could make the soup MUCH more appetite! The mussel bits were not chewing, but tender and succulent and did not disappear in the soup. My Caesar salad was good too. Service was good that they were very busy... I think they could use more help. The atmosphere is appealing (love its custom wooden tables for large groups.) This was an unforgettable meal, and we hope to be back (we are from Calif!)

Very nice experience, best steak I had in years, there was a waiting period, so if you want to eat, go early because there will be a line. The appetizers were tasty and the waiters seem to stay on things.

The food is delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. We always find ourselves here for special occasions, especially birthdays. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is amazing. Definitely recommend

No fan. there were 6 different paintings and tried to give them a chance. eating everything is not great. kartoffeln are nasty, so I baked twice and it was worse! dry skin and stuffed with nasty mashed kartoffels, cheese up was hard as rocks. prime rib was dry. my sohn got chicken sleeves that were dry and tasteless. very disappointing. will not be back.

5-stars! We were in from out of town and had a great experience. The food was off the charts as well as the service. We hope to come back some day.
