Zen Sushi - Dana Point

We came a little later in the weekend and sat right away. Service could use a bit of work we actually do not use everything we have ordered, which has actually worked out because we order so much. We ordered a few reels and a few apps. The tuna nachos (picture) had some old fried tempura flakes on it, they were definitely stale and the tuna itself was spicy, but bland for my taste. The roles we got were mainly those with the Seared fish. The garlic edamame were particularly good had a good season and came to us **** hot. I wish I could report on the Octopus salad, but we never got it... except it was a decent sushi spot!

It's already awhile since I've been to this place, but it's my favorite sushi place, it's always clean the staff is super nice the food is super no matter what you're asking for you will surely love it. I think prices are very reasonable, the shares are big? I have been going to this place for about 10 years before they changed the name zen Sushi and I still love it.

We love coming here! You're so nice to us. My 11-Jo son is obsessed with them, he is a food critic (in his eyes). He's so picky. You never disappointed him. And they always treat him so well. Fresh fish. Great service.

I love they are child-friendly. I bring my 2yo here and they are very interactive with her. Also the sushi is amazing. I had almost every role now and was never impressed. I don't live here, but it's a must if I'm in the area. I recommend the Golden Lantern role as well as the Hawaiians.

Food was really good a little pricey but worth it my only complain was that they were being stingy on the sauces
