Vault Cafe - DARWIN CITY

Nice air-conditioning and a welcome interlude from the humidity. A couple of fruit salad bowls, a coffee accompanying mine. Generous serves, fruit fresh and a varied selection. Service friendly

A very busy little cafe in Darwin City. Great for friends or a business catch up. Even though it was busy, the service was really fast and friendly. Enjoyed our breakfast, and the coffee was delish!

Simple location for a hearty breakfast. Solid reviews by my guests. Granola bowl was excellent with good dose of cinamon. Dukka eggs received great reviews as did smashed avo. Coffees maybe weren't so great but smoothies looked awesome.

Since my local coffee shop closed I've tried a few different places in Darwin CBD. Normally after 1 or 2 bad experiences I wouldn't write a place off and try again, but had another here today. First time: Ordered a large flat white, normal milk, no sugar. Asian girl serving me didn't smile, say hello, or actually even speak to me except to confirm takeaway She just typed in my order, turned the screen around to show me the price and took my money and walked off. Second time, same thing, although the problem with this shop is there are two cash registers, and which one you get served from is a lottery. The long line (say 8 or 9 in front of me) took me over my work tea break time I get. After lining up and eventually nearly getting served, some more customers walked in, went to the empty register where there was no line and the shop attendent served them immediately with the line of patrons looking on in bewilderment. Again, I left but without coffee as I'd blown my whole tea break waiting in line and didn't have time to go elsewhere. Your local coffee shop providing you a morning coffee is an enjoyable experience, it's just that you won't find it here. Take your money and shop elsewhere.

Well a big thank You to Vault Cafe who when say they have Gluten Free bread they have Gluten Free Bread that is that horrible white bread that you can not call Gluten Free Bread. I had a Toastie and was most enjoyable. Staff friendly and polite. So a big thank you to them there.
