Witvoet's Eatery - De Motte

Just opened Service was poor, food was expensive with small portion size, I would not return or go there again....

The food at this restaurant was served cold and lacked creamer; one had to request it and only received a small shot glass worth. When asking for hot sauce, instead of a bottle, a small saucer was provided, suggesting a lack of trust. The server appeared disinterested and took 15 minutes to take our order after serving water and coffee. The food itself took 25 minutes to be prepared. Despite all this, the bill came out to a steep $28 for two people. Overall, the experience was disappointing and overpriced; it would have been better to drive to Valparaiso for better food and service at a cheaper price.

I ordered something that they were out of, the strong sunlight coming through the window made my experience unpleasant as there were no shades. The prices were too high for such a small cafe. I will not be coming back.

The restaurant's website indicated that they were open until 4 o'clock on Sunday, but when we arrived, they were closed.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a part of the family as soon as you walk in. The food is delicious and truly mouthwatering, the best I have ever had. Callie and Bri were particularly sweet and attentive. I can't wait to come back for another visit.
