I was reading the reviews and I definitely had the same experience as others has had . I ordered a cake for my daughters 1st birthday party and the cake looked nothing like how I wanted it to be . It looked like a 5 year old decorated it . I asked the lady if she could fix it or touch it up but she was already upset because i had planned her party a week before but we had gotten covid . She basically said she didn't have time so I asked for a refund and she said that she already wasted money on the first cake that she supposedly made . I say that because I feel like she just kept the first cake that she made In the fridge for a week because it was dry and the frosting just tasted old; it was hard to even give it away) I can't control if I get sick. Also, they didn't even have a cover for the cake. It was very difficult getting it home. Anyways, I had to redecorate it for her party and it still looked pretty sloppy . I thinkni spent over 150 on this cake . It was just a complete waste of money. I wouldn't recommend anyone go to them they seem immature and rude and they dont take ownership for their screw ups .

I stopped in your Windsor location on January 13 to order a cake for my niece's birthday party on February 11th. I was told I couldn't order a cake there, I had to order it at your other location. The lady behind the counter was super nice, she told me I could just call the other store and order the cake. I went out to my car and called your other store. I ordered a cake and 2 dozen cupcakes. The lady I spoke with on the phone told me to send her a picture of the cake and then we would discuss pricing. I hung up the phone and immediately sent a picture via text. I never received a response. 2 weeks went by with still no response, I called and spoke with someone just to make sure they received the picture of the cake. The lady I spoke with this time told me that they did in fact receive the picture, and that the owner would be in in a couple of minutes and she would have her call me right back to discuss pricing. The owner never called! I waited another week and called back multiple times and no one picked up the phone. I left a message, but again nobody returned my call! Thank you to Wise Market for being professional and returning calls, and making the cake you said you would make!

I have been going to this place for many years. These are the Christmas kolaches that I got this year. I have always been satisfied. However unfortunately this is the first year this has happened. Not only do they not look good they taste horrible.

I was given a double layer birthday cake which had so much butter cream frosting, it was ridiculous. The white cake was bland and slightly dry and there was very little filling between the layers. For the price, I would go to Wegman's where you would spend much less. We will not go back.

Since the business was sold the cost of the cakes have nearly doubled, I don't mind paying more for a good cake however, the cake that I got was dry and the frosting was absolutely tasteless. I set up the pick up a time to pick up the cake and when I called to verify I was told they would not be open so I had to leave work in order to get the cake. I will not be going back there in the future.
