Avaliação da contribuiçãoVisited here for dinner whilst staying at the resort for a weekend away. Was a tad expensive between the two of us, even without drinks, but the size of the mains made up for it. The lamb shanks had two whole shanks, and the pickled pork was massive. The sticky date pudding isn't made in house but its not a cheap Sara Lee thing - never had one like it and it was delicious so I can vouch for that dessert. The ambience is nice - can only imagine it being better on a cold night with the heaters on!I would recommend the venue cleans the windows looking out however - although the place is meant to be nature orientated I couldn't help but notice all the dusty cobwebs in the corners, right next to the tables.
We had four different dishes and they were all excellent. The ingredients were top quality and the meals were perfectly cooked according to our wishes. Their chips are awesome! We got to see the possum on their feeding spot, and as a great extra bonus one of the staff (might be management or owner) showed us his pet-snake. A beautiful python.
Nice quiet restaurant that is part of the Broken River Resort. It is decorated in character withe the eco resort theme. Food was excellent and good value. Coffee was good too.
Great place for breakfast and lunch in a lovely rustic rainforest setting. Order a 'Yodel Burger' (with extra yodel) and the friendly owner chef will yodel as he serves you at your table.Food is reasonably priced and tastes great. None of our party was disappointed. Will definitely return.
We stayed at Broken River Campsite and just over the road is Possums table, (must book) breakfast and dinner available, good menu and portion sizes. At dinnertime they feed the possums which is great to see, they come down with their babies and scoff the offerings. The staff are lovely and full of local information about where to spot different animals and attractions. It's a lovely quiet spot.
