Avaliação da contribuiçãoAfter finishing my meal, my table was not cleared and I was promptly presented with the bill to pay. I was not offered any dessert or after-meal amenities, unlike other customers who had ordered lunch specials. It seemed like the staff was eager to move on after having their own lunch.
The restaurant used to be popular until three years ago, but the quality of food and taste has significantly declined. Our group of seven, who are Korean Americans and know sushi and sashimi well, spent almost $500 and unanimously agreed that we would never return to this restaurant. We can find better quality sushi and sashimi at other sushi restaurants for less than half the price.
The sushi was extremely fresh, even for my friend who was trying it for the first time. The dumplings and chicken skewers were also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back next time I visit.
Decent sushi spot as it is in progress. not the best omakasse, but pretty fresh fish. sushi reis is not bad either. price is like some other omakase places in nyc, but to skip the toll it is not a bad place to get sushi!
It's too bad. I came on Saturday at about 12 noon and there were 3 seats at the sushi bar and two tables open and the greeter told me there were no seats for me. The single diner at the end of the sushi bar had already ordered and was eating and he told me 2 other people were joining her. And he said that the tables were reserved. I went back to my car and took a phone call and over the next 30 minutes one couple left and one couple entered. It's too bad. There food is very good, but I will never be back. I guess the greeter does not understand the life value of a customer. Who knows, maybe it was the owner.
