Tavern On Main - Fort McMurray

Cozy spot, great comfort food, especially the chicken quesadillas! The fries and onion rings are also fantastic. The servers are really friendly and have been there a long time. They let me setup early for a surprise birthday party for my co-worker and helped me make sure everything was ready. Great spot!

We stopped in on our way up to camp. waitresses were friendly , beer was cold and the nibblers where great. ill be back for sure.

I was here to listen to music and the independent music scene is being nurtured by the Tavern on Main team like nowhere else in Fort McMurray!!!! I just had drinks but will be back for dinner another evening.

Dinner and drinks to finish up the weekend, we thought we would try out the Tavern on Main. Well to start with this place has no craft beer on tap. They have , many different intentional beers, in bottles. Had a experience I'll never be back for on the food. Ordered nachos with the works, every extra available. So when they came to the table burnt, I asked if we could return them to the kitchen. Our server then picked them up and gave the burnt order to the only other table in the place. What kind of restaurant serves burnt food? What kind of server gives your burnt food to the table beside you? When you refuse it. The order of nachos was average and for the funds you can do so much better else where in town, even the chain restaurants

What happened to this place. A while ago it was a great place to eat and have a beer from around the world. Now didnt have a good selection of these beers and both my wife and I sent our food back. My steak was thawed in a micro wave and tough and flavourless here stir fry was served on iciban half cooked noodles. Holy cow it was the worst food I have been served in years. Eat anywhere else. This place won't survive long if this keeps up
