La Tahona Corralejo,fuerteventura

I was late on a Saturday night because of a flight delay here, from a nice host who made us really welcome ordered eating, which was amazing, we all had another dish and each of them was delicious in the did it so. well we went again twice. it is in the old town where the outdoor stage could enjoy so the music, at the same time as eating . would really recommend fantastic service and eating only partial is not a card reader so have to pay in cash. will be definitiw back

4th night into the holiday and the food everyday has been exceptional in every place we’ve tried. Well all I can say is all good things have to come to an end! Not saying I’m a Michelin star critic but I know food. This was...very substandard tapas. That bad I felt I had to write a review ! We ordered 4 dishes... Homemade meat balls, chicken croquets, king prawns in garlic, ribs. Meat balls were tasteless. Prawns were small and hard. The one rib was just a rib. Deep fried. The chicken croquets were inedible and I mean that bad I wouldn’t feed my dog it. The lady said do you want some garlic bread beforehand and I said why not. It was a slice of warm but untoasted bread with butter smeared on. It looked so unappealing and it lived up to it. This place only survives by two things. It’s location on the main square or people who are new unsuspecting customers. This resort has wonderful restaurants. Round the corner from this place are a number of good tapas places which I strongly recommend you choose over here. It was abysmal. I don’t enjoy writing a review like this but I think it’s disgusting that a place can serve this quality of food and get away with it whist charging above average prices.

Best steak ever, had fillet with bacon, king prawns n goats cheese, absolutely fabulous even down to the king prawns which were trimmed so no real messing which I didn’t mind anyways. This chef is excellent, family run which is so friendly, love the hole...experience of dining here, carnt wait to return

It was our first time to La Tahona, we went along with friends after they recommended it, it didn't disappoint. The skewers are amazing and very well priced. We will definitely be visiting again
