Sheridans Cheesemongers - Galway

Upstairs from the cheese shop is a wine bar. We ordered a large cheese plate some glasses of wine. The cheeses the server brought out were a nice variety of hard soft, and we were happy with the wine he suggested. Was a very nice quiet place to spend a relaxing late lunch/afternoon snack.

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon. Picked up a couple of cheeses to take back to.my apartment. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Prices were not exorbitant for the quality!

Really friendly staff. They offer samples of cheeses you are interested in buying, and all are high quality!

Went to the shop to purchase a few different cheeses but of course left having bought some gorgeous Parma and Iberian hams on the advice of the staff.The gentleman who served me could not be more helpful on the cheeses and the hams,good old fashioned proper customer service even though the shop was busy.i can recommend the shop 100% on both the meats, cheeses and lots of oils and condiments.

I thought this was a restaurant but instead a lovely cheese shop. The staff were very helpful with tastings and we were able to assemble bread cheese and some prosciutto and salami for a fantastic lunch eaten outside in Galway.
