La Grimaudoise

After the small decunity of May we returned to the grimaudoise and we were presented at the end of the meal to the boss as he wished. We told him how much we loved his kitchen and this little place away from the hustle. the risotto to the holy jacques was delicious just like the gambas linguines. The boss offered us the digestive. We left some to come back!

Very friendly staff great food and reasonable prices, in pleasant surroundings. All the more impressive in that it is also a Pateserie during the day with wonderful tarts, coisants and good coffee..

Very good reception!!!Schools and wines are delicious with fresh products as well as homemade desserts. impeccable service and a superb atmosphere! we had already tested breakfasts that were just as delicious. We will be back with great pleasure!

I had the linguine de la mer, the wife had chicken. I wasnt impressed with the seafood, there were a number of moules shells that were virtually empty. I wasn't sure if i had been given the rough ride or the French bloke next to me had been given the 'mates rates' version; but he looked like he had the same dish but his looked much nicer. Anyway, including drinks the meal came to 70 euros. We settled up and toddled off thinking we probably wouldnt eat there again.The next day the wife said she was feeling a bit ropey. I didnt feel great but i thought little of it. As the day wore on she started feeling worse and worse, until eventually serious sickness set in. She was doing the both ends dance by evening. I was still only feeling mildly sub-par, but a sickness feeling was looming over me. I tried to fight it off but a few hours later i succumb. I was hurling and hacking like nobodies business. My body was not happy with me. We both spent the whole night listening to each other chundering. She had the bathroom, i had carrier bags (Superdrug and Next carrier bags were good because they didnt have holes in them).As always with things like this we cant say 100% that it was down to the food from here, but considering the other possibilities (all simple, bland supermarket food) i think we are 99% sure. This food also came flashing through my skull regularly as i lay shivering on my bed.Ruined a good 3 days of our holiday.
