Bring from Chicago with a very high Mexican population might make me a Mexican food snob. Tio Lamp’s is in no way close to Mexican food. It is close to Tex-Mex maybe. I was excited to try this place when I found it on a Google search. Sadly I was disappointed as with most restaurants in the Philippines that try to do menus from other countries. I absolutely love the food at this restaurant. It has been my favorite spot for years now. The place has become very popular recently, so it can get quite busy, especially on weekends. Despite the crowds, I appreciate that the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Sometimes there may be a wait for your order, but it's worth it because the food is always tasty. Overall, I would highly recommend dining in for dinner here.
