Chicken Treat - Inglewood

This is not a bad little spot. Because people tend to 'ignore' these little chains, their attention to detail and food prep is spot on. Reminds one of your early days before the 'big' corporate fast food chains gave fast food a bad name. Restores your faith.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, we stopped for a quick snack on the way home, and presently surprised as soon as we walked in. The place was the cleanest fast food restaurant we have seen in a long time. Hot fresh food, Chicken Roll was packed full of meat and cost 25% less than the chicken roll I got from the other chicken shop.

This is my second visit this year, never again. Ordered half a chicken, chips, separate peas and gravy. Chips were in with the chicken and totally soggy. Peas with the gravy so salty they were inedible, tried peas without gravy, still too salty, they went in the bin. Chicken not that tasty either.

Being a fast food restaurant, you might not expect much; however, we have had a really good service there and the cleanest chicken treat we have seen by far.

This was next door to our motel, was ok, not great, and expensive. i dont like junkfood, but we were desperate.
