If it tells you a check in time ; stick to it . We arrived a bit early to find the place locked up . Not a big problem as there are contact numbers on the door . However this is just a heads up. Arriving at the postcode brings you to the front of the hotel where parking is scarce . There is parking at the back at a 1st come 1st served basis . Follow the road down turn left at the fire station and follow the road back. We wondered if it was actually open as there was no sign of life ?? Hotel is lovely and clean and the proprieters are very nice welcoming .Once you're in you won't be disappointed

Horrific customer service, tried to cancel 4 hours after the cancellation deadline due to COVID 19 and they said there was nothing they could do, wouldn’t even allow me to change date.

Stopped here for the night when travelling back from Scotland. Lovely welcome from the host, room was big with a comfortable bed and enjoyed a drink with the friendly locals. Breakfast definitely a highlight!

She stayed here while she went away the cuthberts, in a case when it was too wet to wildcamp. phoned and the host could not have been more helpful. the room was excellent, clean spacious with modern coffee making facilities, flat-screen TV, shower over bath. the breakfast was very delicious (especially the mushrooms) and relaxed atmosphere. would be happy to stay back. very nice stay.
