Silver Tankard - Kells

Unplanned lunch in this beautiful place turned out to be the right decision made. We ordered the dish of the day: veg soup, beef roast (main course), spice tankard bag (main course), chicken mushroom dish starter) and apple pie dessert. Service and the customer service 5/5. The 4/5 was for icecream.

Stopped off for sunday lunch with my family we were absolutely thrilled with the food, the service, the atmosphere, all staff were very attentive, food was piping hot plentiful, would highly recommend we certainly will be back, also very reasonable price wise for the size of the portions etc. 5 star

The food was very good and the service was quick and friendly.

Food was really nice, hadn’t been here before but will come again. Restaurant itself felt a little cold but to be 100% fair it was a cold rainy evening when we were there. Really enjoyed it and will be back.
