Avaliação da contribuiçãoTried it, hated it. The food is 100% nothing like Asian food. Overcooked, tasteless, tiny portions. Stay away
On days when my wife and I are flitting around Guelph doing errands we make it a point to lunch at Thai Express. The food is terrific. You get to watch the cooks prepare it right in front of your eyes. They'll custom prepare it the way you like it. Everything is so fresh and tasty. The décor is bright and reflects the Thai culture. We'll be back before you know it 'cause it's all great.
A single stall of a Asian hood hawker at least. It's never been so easy to have an Asian fix on noodles, rice, basil, tofu, or meat with America's fast food speed. This place is really close to the movie theater at Pergola Commons. It has been very consistent in quality and generous with their portion. We had been going to the Thai Express at the Stone Mall until they became more and more skimpy and inconsistent in portion. So when we found this place, we gave it a try. And we have been happy here ever since. For vegetarian/vegan options, their stir-fry with the choice of basil and tofu(I think you get to choose two) is very very delicious. It usually comes with rice, but we always replace it with noodles. You have to pay for the noodle replaces though, under $1...I think 90c. Another choice, not vegan because it has eggs, is Pad sew...also has quite awesome flavors, wide rice noodles. The price is usually under $10 so depending on how you qualify budget but it is reasonable enough for a satisfying Thai food fix. Service is courteous, cooking is fast, and the place is getting busier and busier.
I've eaten at this chain many times but this was my first order from this locationThe staff was friendly and warm I must say.
I used to go to this place once a week and recommended the location of our guest as I work in a hotel nearby. I'll never return. I The pad thai I got today had a piece of...almost like raw and rubbery chickens. They had no bills, I think she did, but she just didn't want to give it to me, as her colleague told her in her language, which seemed like her. NEW
