La Grange aux Hiboux - La Baie

Bon repas tartare une soirée chaude et ensoleillée. Notre serveur Guillaume nous a conseillé pour la bière et le vin. Les tartare de saumon et de thon était excellent. L'assiette dessert trio était superbe.

We did not stay at the hotel but were there for lunch on August 6, 2017. We ordered the soup of the day, a Caesar Salad and a plate of nachos. I think the waitress forgot about us because it took forever to get the soup (large plates with not much in them). Once the soup plates were taken away, they brought the bread. At least half an hour later, someone realized that we had not yet been served our salad and nachos ... meanwhile, people were walking in and getting served. Finally, our plates arrived ... the nachos were cold. Oh yeah, we had to ask for napkins. We were served by three different people. All this for more than $42.00. I was not impressed at all and I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Une bonne adresse à La Baie. La qualité des plats est un peu inégale (TB burger maison au filet mignon paprika, tartare de saumon sans charme, dessert pas fait maison a priori), le service est un peu lent mais correct, les prix honnête mais nous avons eu un meilleur rapport qualité/prix à Québec. Bonne adresse néanmoins vu les alternatives à La Baie.

Accueillant et typique. Comme européen il faut bien essayer de comprendre car l'accent québécois y est bien présent ! ;0)Les plats sont très bons, le prix raisonnable.

Walked in on a weekday evening, restaurant largely empty. Shown upstairs, pleasant setting. Then ridiculous long wait to see a waitress to order drinks and food. Then again ridiculous long wait to get our orders. Food was very average, amongst others the hamburger we ordered was without bread. My fish plate was only so and so. Very small portions, really insufficient. Then - this gets familiar - very long wait to get the bill for a ridiculous 187 CAD for the three of us. In spite of good comments on TA we did not get to see any of this. Would stay clear.
