Humble Pie - Lake Of Bays

I purchased six pumpkin cranberry scones and couldn't get enough of them! I later shared them with friends over drinks and they were quickly devoured. I really appreciate having these local spots owned by individuals.

I arrived at the restaurant when the sign said "Open", but the woman behind the counter told me they had already closed and only accepted cash. We ordered tarts that were not very good. Disappointing experience.

After reading the negative reviews here, I found that they accurately summed up my experience. If you enjoy being treated with casual buttercups and heavy sarcasm, then this is the place for you. I was appalled by the way the customers were treated. If this is a typical day for them, I can't believe they are still in business. Based on similar reviews from a year ago, it seems like this is an ongoing issue. Save yourself the time.

The problem with the muskoka’s is that everyone thinks that his product is the best and this place is not different. this place is expensive for what they get and it is not the friendly place.

Baysville is not a foodie destination but if you are looking for great butter tarts dont buy these. They are way TOO runny, If you like runny butter tarts then go for it, Pizza is good but expensive.
