Moonstruck Diner - Long Island City

Came here on a Tuesday night and ordered a $25 appetizer from allegedly grilled garnel and calamari. Why did it come with a garnel? could not order cocktails because the bartender was not available. had not my first choice that was red snapper, so I left myself for a garnel bowl with 35. it was 4 garnels with white rice in a tomato sauce. no bueno. total disappointment and they have the nerves adding tips and an additional tax on their check. one and finished with this device.

The staff at Moonstruck are friendly, accommodating and they make amazing drinks. They were covid-safe and the service was quick. Food was generous portion sizes. I will be back again!!!!

The outdoor scene at Moonstruck is very deceiving. The food is incredibly mediocre with below average service. The second we walked in and got a table, the waiter spilled water all over my friend's outfit, and proceeded by bringing him water in the same glass that fell on the ground. I asked for a refill for my drink about 5 times, and I got the waiter to attend to me only twice. The waiters all seemed like they were in a rush and it was an overall unpleasant experience. Outdoor dining in NYC has been so calm and relaxing thus far, which is 100% not the case at this restaurant. However, if you do find yourself here, make sure to check in to get 10% off your bill!

When I first ordered it was pretty good. the second time I was not satisfied. the mozzarella sticks were not edible that they were all stuck together. the queen just had a little cheese on it and the fries were so tender. I tried again, and the mozzarella sticks came the same way.
