Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe Japanese and Korean cuisine here is on the pricey side, but it's absolutely worth the expense. During peak hours, there can be a bit of a wait, but it's certainly worth it. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. The decor is appealing and helps to create a lovely atmosphere!
The food here is incredibly delicious and consistently high in quality. While the service and takeout can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, the sushi makes it all worthwhile! This is definitely one of our favorite spots.
Origami is one of the fanciers, more demanding places in Los Alamos. For me it was love at first glance... I remember when I was here for the first time. My boss took me for lunch and he wanted some sushi. Personally, I never had sushi and never had Japanese meals. It was great, such a great first experience! Your staff is amazing: very attentive and well maintained. Decoration and serving meals creates a soothing and relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy your delicious food and forget your daily problems. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but when you come during lunchtime, you get the lunch special that is perfect when you're on a budget. I'm back, guaranteed!
If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy water or rice with your rolls, this isn't the right spot. They don’t replenish water, and the rolls are very small, barely larger than a quarter, leaving you with only a mere sliver of ingredients from the menu. Pickup orders seem to take precedence, so if you decide to dine in, be prepared for a long wait. EDIT: This place has really improved—5/5 stars!
The fish was definitely not fresh. If you're not committed to using fresh fish, then sushi shouldn't be on your menu. Additionally, it's not acceptable to tell customers that your fish is fresh when you know it isn't.
