Mapleton Public House

All I want to say is YUM YUM YUMMY YUM YUMMO!!I'm happy I don't live closer as I wouldn't be able to control myself..This place has changed for the better and you can taste the quality and love in the food.We had the the Beef Tatare and the Chicken Snitzel.

"Nice outlook. Good pub food at reasonable prices "The above is my thoughts from a year ago. Still a nice outlook, but there 's now a very limited and over-priced menu. It was hard to choose anything that really appealed. We settled on the chicken schnitzel, it was nice but over-priced. The staff and owners seem lovely. Wouldn 't rush back, but wish the new owners well and hope this beautiful old pub will find its way back into favour with locals and visitors.

Went here for lunch, ordered the schnitzel thinking a classic pub lunch would be perfect. This dish was perfect the service was great as well would highly recommend this place.

Great country drive today and stop for lunch at Mapleton Public House to try out their new menu. No pics, but we enjoyed the beef tartare and chicken schnitzel and just loved the potato flatbread with macadamia. Staff were welcome and friendly serving plenty of happy customers. We are sunny coast locals and appreciate the effort taken to use locally sourced produce. Only downside was there was no room left for any delicious Wombye cheese!

The food, the hospitality, and that view. Definitely one of the Sunshine Coast's best and can't wait to see what the new owners do next...
