Advertising being open when your only providing part service is disingenuous. Checked both website, facebook and google to ensure this place was open and drove up from Caloundra to get greeted by a sign on entry kitchen closed . You have a website that looks like a smashed crab, facebook and your own google maps info with opening hours. All able to be edited instantly {especially facebook} to disclose a closed kitchen. Deceit and getting someone to cook your food is never going to go well together. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Lovely dining atmosphere on the verandah, looking out over the Sunshine Coast with candles and fairy lights around us... I was especially pleased that there wasn 't loud music, which you often find in restaurants, which then drowns out intimate conversation. So 5 stars for atmosphere! The service was excellent and the food was good. Love the local produce, very tasty. My fish burger was on the plain side but the glazed carrots were divine. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Definitely has changed since the last time. Not complaining was a nice change and absolutely delicious meals. Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: With Chips, Burger
Lovely location with a beautiful aspect looking back towards the coast. The service was good, with very friendly staff however it was the first night of a new menu and the staff were still learning the options Overall the menu was lacking in meat options with the only really available, a the dinner special of a pork cutlet, chicken burger and a very expensive wagyu steak $49). Most meal options were tapas style for sharing and at $55pp, it was a little pricey for one pork cutlet and a couple of sides. The fries, which didn’t come with the burger, were amazing and the best part of all the food we ordered! Having simple and tasty cuisine, well executed, is much more appealing than complicated unknown ingredients, which the staff struggled to explain what they were, makes it hard to gauge what to expect. We had a nice experience however a little over priced and not sure I’d dine again with the current menu. Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Ordered a burger for $26 and this is what you get, look at the picture and make your own decision, had to order fries separately also as it didn’t come with them. Way overpriced for a small country pub, feels like robbery. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
