Havana's Pilon - Memphis

I don't know how I stumbled across this place but I am so glad I did. They have been here for 5 years already and I am just now finding them; better late than never, suppose. This cozy spot in the heart of downtown has stolen mine. The coladas create a perfect marriage of coffee and milk. The empanadas remind me of my visits to the panaderias in Miami. Be sure to grab a empanada de guayaba!!! You will thank me for it!!!

Excellent food and friendly staff, prices very reasonable. Had the roasted pork with rice and sweet plantains.

Very simple Cuban eatery, that I visited based on the great reviews. The food was amazing!!! It's really just a place for a quick lunch, but very much worth visiting!
