Taverna Sass - MERGOZZO

The food was very creative and incredibly tasty, worth its price. The pasta was homemade and the ingredients are all from local providers. The staff was friendly and even with the restaurant being full they gave their best to keep everyone satisfied. Sitting right by the lake on the terrace with a view of the mountains made the experience even more enjoyable. Not even the cold January air could ruin it since blankets and cushions kept everyone cozy and the food still arrived to the table warm as it's carried in special containers right up to your plate. All in all I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that can get a chance to try it!

Very nice food and wine but something seems to have been totally out of control this evening. We were waiting 30 minutes just to order something to drink, and after two hours we still missed the main course. We agreed with the restaurant to cancel the remaining food so we could leave.

One of the best pizzas I have had. Only best and regional products, even the pasta is handmade. And the location directly at the lake just a wonderful night. Highly recommend to visit and get to know the lovely people working here.

I love everything about this place. From the multilanguage serving with a smile to the perfect scenery. The good house wine to the delicious fresh homemade food. In particular, Sass serves the best pizza I've ever had. How do they make a crust so thin yet so fluffy!? We highly recommend this restaurant. Tip: make a reservation.
