Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe last we ate at Smokes was in Aug 2012. There was so many choices, and the poutine was packed to almost to the top of the open boxes. Not this time around. There were a handful of choices only. We had the bacon and the Montreal smoked meat poutines. Decent amount of bacon, but not packed with fries ( it was a small order). The large Montreal smoked meat poutine did not come with much meat. It was barely enough to feed two people. Good thing I had my son's leftover bacon poutine to finish off. It used to be that large poutine would feed two people very well. Not anymore. It seems this Smoke's conforms to the Toronto franchises - give the people only enough to eat and they will be happy. Not really. Too bad.
The vegetarian poutine - with mushroom gravy - was okay. Being a poutine virgin, I have no comparison. Still prefer crispy fries with salt and ketchup. Had to try it!
Worst poutine I ever had. Fries were terrible hardly any gravy. All just thrown together. minimal cheese.
Good location right in the pedestrian village. A good alternative to eating at the more expensive restaurants in the area.
Although a chain, a great product and great consistency in product. If looking for fast food in MT, this is the place to,go.
