Welcome to the XXth century : such is the name of this extraordinary restaurant, proudly suggesting l 'assiette du skieur (skiers ' plate). In September ! We just burst out laughing, eager to know more. Just passing by and snatching bits of conversation makes you hungry and curious. A 3 wall gallery of Swiss anthems singers ' faces, cartoons, tightly hanged landscapes, wit and humour all pervading sets a stage dedicated to family cuisine. Do vegans, fussy and quinoa addicts please abstain ! Here the fondue boasts a mixture of no more than four different kinds of cheese. Malakoffs, saucisses aux choux papet vaudois (local treat of cabbage sausages with potatoes), Madeira pork feet, Feuilleté aux morilles (excellent mushrooms) : make your pick and do not hesitate to order, should you be there on a Thursday or Friday the Langue aux câpres (beef tongue with capers). Once in your life...
Ww had dinner at this restaurant. The fondue is very good. There’s a good choice on the menu and prices are fair. Friendly service.
