Avaliação da contribuiçãoAuthetic Indian hawker food which reminds me of Malaysia. Tasty, reasiably priced. Just started Friday night late closing, serving prata. good ambience
Authentic S 'pore/Malaysian Indian serves dishes like Nasi Lemak,Mee Siam,MeeRebus,Gado Gado,Soto Ayem,Nasi Beranyi(weekends)etc.Very pleasant staff except for the occasional appearance of the rude old man boss in this small cafe-style eatery which gets very crowded on weekends. If you are willing to queue up for take-away or wait for a seat then try it ...worth the wait!!
Where does one start when all the dishes are simply full of flavours! Nasi lemak, dosa with the sambar and chutney, fish curry not forgetting the laksa of course and all the kueh Kueh like dadar, epok epok or vadai. Here is a fact, the dishes are dishes I ate when I was veey young in Singapore. Full flavours and cooked with super high standards... Thank You Spice Express, better then same dishes found in most of Singapore today..
This our family’s local Singapore/Malaysian fav and we tend to make a visit twice a month. We enjoy the thosai, mee Siam, uppum, Vasari, chicken wings and mee Soto. My dad commented that the Briyani has been adjusted for the western palate. We have no issues with it because it is tasty, even though we know the briyani is not the taste of Singapore. The staff are friendly and do their best to give you a comfortable eating experience. Be warned that this is not a place to have long chats. You are there purely to eat. There can be a queue however this is managed well and within 15 to 20 minutes, you can get your seat.
Love spice! With colleagues, we go there once a week/fortnight. Good homestyle food at reasonable.price. staff is good, polite, and offers good.service. you can't go wrong.
