Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had an incredible dinner with outstanding service. The espresso martini was the best I've ever had. Every dish was delicious. It's a fantastic place for a celebration!
My husband and I visited Macaluso's for dinner during our anniversary trip, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely amazing. Each course surpassed the last—from the homemade soups to the perfectly grilled long hots served with imported sharp provolone and olive oil, to the pan-seared sea scallops with sage butter, eggplant parmesan, and finally, the Italian love cake for dessert. Thank you, Macaluso's, for an unforgettable dining experience filled with warmth. We loved it and will definitely return!
My spouse started with a bowl of the Portobello Mushroom Soup, which he loved. For our entrees, I chose the Special of the Day: Manicotti (made in-house!), while my spouse opted for the Ravioli (also made in-house). Both dishes were delicious, and my portion was so generous that I took half of it home with me. Macaluso's offers a unique side salad option. You can choose a full portion of their Tossed Greens or a half-portion of either Gorgonzola or Caesar Salad. My spouse enjoyed his Tossed Greens, but my Gorgonzola Salad—loaded with chunks of cheese, plenty of walnuts, and the best dressing—was unbeatable. I absolutely loved it! Make sure to save room for dessert, whether you enjoy it there or take it home, as we did. My Peach Pie was fantastic, with a crust unlike any I've had before. My spouse chose the Love Cake and was very pleased with it. We found the pricing for food and beverages to be very fair. At this time of year, they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. We chose to eat indoors because of the humidity, but both areas looked equally inviting. We will definitely be back!
Have been going here for years and last nights dinner will be the last. From the minute we walked in till the time we left I can honestly say nothing was like it used to be. Bread on the table was cold and stale. One Pat of butter in the basket. My son was served a Diet Coke that looked like colored water. When I brought it to the waitress attention she said maybe you have to stir it. She eventually agreed to get a new one after I tasted it and said it was bad. Service was horrific. Food was tasteless. The table next to us was served raw coconut shrimp. On my way out I stopped to tell the new owners how bad our experience was and her reply was just sorry. It’s too bad because we went there frequently and sent a lot of friends there but it’s a done deal
