This place has excellent food and a great atmosphere. The food is all fresh, but they also serve some snacks like Nachos or Country cuts with very delicious dips. They also serve Guinness and Jever, I have not tried the Cocktails yet...

After walking around the town looking for food at a decent price, we found the Basement. Located beneath a Chinese restaurant with its entrance in the back of the building, Basement is a cozy place to stop by for a no-fuss dinner. The ceiling is...vaulted and made of brick. There are two spaces: the bar and the restaurant. The cocktails and beers were good. I order a piña colada everywhere I go and was pleasantly surprised at how good the cocktail from Basement tasted. The food was also pretty good. I was in the mood for greasy food and ordered chicken chips (these were chicken nuggets) with fries. My partner ordered the herring dish with potatoes. The portions were large and we both couldn’t finish our meal. The server was very polite and attentive. We never had to wait long for our orders or our check. I’d definitely return.
