Avaliação da contribuiçãoIt’s always great when you go to a new restaurant and you learned that the owner is always on premises not to mention the delicious gumbo and soups two things you have to try the fried bell pepper rings and the Oreo beignet’s.
Our first time visiting New Orleans and we had a list of “non touristy” places to eat. Luca Eats did not disappoint! We had their delicious version of the muffaletta and their “Oreo beignets “ or fried Oreos some would say. These are my boyfriends exact words “I don’t know if we need to go anywhere else but here.” I feel the same but we need to give other places a fair chance…lol The owner was the friendliest and his staff amazingly helpful and even recommended some places for us to visit! We’ll be back for sure!
The staff was polite and took our orders promptly. The menu was easy to understand. The service was a bit slow, despite the crowd. The restaurant has a lot of outdoor seating and a small indoor area. We ordered coffee and Oreo beignets, which were tasty. The coffee was better than average. One order of beignets is sufficient for one adult, unless you have a big appetite.

Exciting and flavorful coffee. Located off the beaten path, this is the perfect spot for a Sunday morning breakfast. Trendy atmosphere.
