Avaliação da contribuiçãoGreat service and amazing eating – the staff was very nice, and the chicken 65 and chicken biryani were both excellent!
Was visiting out of town and this was the nearest desi spot from where I could get bryani. Ordered two bryani and haka noodles. The chicken bryani was amazing and spicy. And the serving was really great. One pack was enough for two people. Also packed the items very very nicely for my to go order. They also offered me a free mango lassi! I loved their food and service.
I moved nearby to Masala Cafe a year ago and cannot count how many times I’ve ordered since finding them. The food is reasonably priced, generously portioned and perfectly prepared every time. If it weren’t for the fact that I always have some left for lunch tomorrow, I probably would have ordered from them multiple days in a row. It’s that good. One additional note: I have a severe dairy allergy, and have been to the hospital multiple times due to ingredient contamination at other Indian restaurants. At Masala Cafe, I have never once felt even a tingle of a reaction, which speaks to their allergy-consciousness.
This is one of the best South Indian restaurants I've been to. They make some lip smacking biryani and chicken starters. But for sure their showstopper is their breakfast menu. The tomato chutney served definitely requires a special mention. The staff is very amicable and helpful. If you ever want some south Indian spices to hit your palate then this place is for you.
One more place in and around Newark area where I found Indian cuisine.. Everything on their looks mouth watering
