Ocean View Fishing Pier - Norfolk

This was my late mother's favorite restaurant. We've been going here since we were kids. The food is excellent and you won't find such a neat, local atmosphere anywhere else in OV since they tore down the greenies.

As an OV local, the bar at the fishing pier is definitely a staple. Even if you're not from OV I suggest driving over to try it. My favorite part is the sunset view you get. If you are a big sunset fan try to get the high top seats behind the stage.

Old, cold stale fries, stale bread on sandwiches , warm pickles, cooked food is only just okay-no spices. Atmosphere is nice enough for the beach, prices: your paying for the location and the view, not the food. Spent way too much for what we actually got.Also got a credit card fee at 4% didn't see that posted anywhere. Is that even legal? Don't come here, you will be disappointed.

Outstanding eating experience on the top deck. The spring salad was very good. The salmon was delicious. The fried and grilled shrimp was very good as well. Our server was excellent and very friendly.

Enjoyed the food and the server was friendly. The atmosphere was FABULOUS!! Eating on the roof and enjoying the sunset at the same time was the best!!
