Good host and staff no rush very keen to keep our group happy We had a large range of dishes as so many off us a set menu but was all good a beautiful salad and meats selection followed by traditional meat balls a melted cheese with bread then an stay of pizza and as a couple of people could not eat tomatoes they changed bases and made some special pizzas for them and then came the pasta and perfect potato gnocchi ..... OMG traditional and full of flavour the sauce was awesome
A little piece of Napoli in Oatley, run by a young couple from Naples. You really feel like you're in Napoli when you taste the food. Their pasta is incredibly delicious, but not on the menu as it changes weekly to suit seasonal availability (the Italian way! . The pizza is incredibly authentic: thin centre (not soupy with moderate toppings and a soaring crust burnished with wood smoke. THE CRUST! It's the best in the Shire hands down, probably the best in Sydney. Every other dish was composed just as thoughtfully. But the absolute best thing isn't even the food: it's the staff. The owner (also our server was so friendly and warm. Multiple staff members (almost all Italian passed by during our meal to ask if we were enjoying ourselves and if they could take care of us. And every single staff member dishwasher to pizza chef that we passed thanked us as we left. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Had an amazing entree with cheese melted in tomato sauce, the Italian style bread was to die for. Pizza was good, very traditional Italian style. Tiramisu desert was good, bit too creamy, tiara part was great.Staff were great and very friendly
Authentic napoleon style pizzas. their pizzas have a soft thin floor with a teig, which sheds around the sides and ensures an airy chest. tartufo e porcini pizza, porcini mushroom with black truffle was great. loved the crispy edges and a light radiance from the flame of the fire. I loved the teig got a fermented aroma with a smokey taste ~ the food price is on the high side. spaghetti di mare costs $30 with small garnels and a few pieces of calamari. in portions was small for this price and the bisque was just ok, it was not as rich and tasteful as I hope. the service was fast and the staff was friendly and attentive. great facility that they feel like you...read more
