Breadsmith - Okemos

I've been in here for almost a decade. Great bread and cookies. It's a small shop where everything's right when you enter, so there's not much to say about it. The service is always good, you can ask for suggestions depending on what you want with the bread, and this is a stamp card (one for bread and one for treats). It should be mentioned that this place is resilient. They stopped operations even after someone went through the front window. I'm sure this is one of the last things they expected to have weather (except a pandemic), but they have gone on.

Local bakery that produces freshly prepared treats. We are a fan of her honey-and-white toast, honey oat-dinner roll and the Kreuzaint. And the cookies are always a blessing after a whole day (Oatmeal raisins!

Only place in Lansing with Challah on Friday! I'm grateful I found this place. It is very tasty

The best dark rye bread around.. have purchased bread from Breadsmith for about 20 years I've tried the other bread stores but Breadsmith makes the best bread in the Lansing and East Lansing area
