Autobahn Cafe Papakura

This gas station/service station/ restaurant reminded me of being on the turnpike in Kansas. I think this particular stop had a McDonalds as well. But who wants that when you can get it in every. It's back home. When you walk into the diner, you're greeted by a huge case of pastries and pre-cooked breakfast items like quiches and breakfast sausage rolls. Grab a tray and get what you want and take it to the cashier to pay and have your food warmed. There's also a menu that you can order from if you want something easier. The staff was friendly and the food was good.

Rude incompetent. If you want a smashed sandwich w a sprig of carrots on it, then go here. The staff was also rude sassy. Go a little down the highway to the OTHER autobahn cafe on Mill Rd. Delicious great service!

Always been happy with food here. Usually call in on the way home after picking up visitors at the airport. Coffee pretty good. Nice friendly service. Skip mc donalds next door and come in here instead ...chips are way better. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$10–20
