REMEMBER TO MAKE BOOKING!this restaurant is popular and booking is definitely recommended.. was there at about 11am and the whole restaurant was fully booked.. luckily there were 2 tables available..food was fantastic and huge servings too.. the best part was the view of the surroundings..

Staff were excellent, food portions for lunch were just right. Looking forward to another visit in Spring time to eat out on the inviting looking deck and enjoy the food. The place was humming and the experience well worth the short drive to Cambridge. Highlight of the meal was the local squid, and the cheese and fruit plate for dessert.

A belated review of our visit to this wonderful restaurant . It was the weekend when all the wineries were open for a Tasting Weekend and so the Coal Valley Vineyard was a must for us to visit. It was extremely busy , but we were lucky enough to get a table and were made feel very welcome by the hosts Todd and Gillian. It is a delightful venue looking out over the vineyard and towards the Coal River. We had the pulled the pulled pork bun and it was delectable. Can heartily recommend a visit.

Such a beautiful and picturesque spot! We stopped in for a delish hot choc but ended up ordering a cheese platter. The service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant books out fast so highly recommend to book. The food was delivered quickly and it was yummy! Our hot drinks divine and we look forward to a return visit as the menu looked great. A little cramped in the venue itself but I guess as it is so busy that can happen easily.

We lunched as a family group celebrating an 80th birthday. We were lucky with a perfect day, which was matched by a perfect lunch.Always a bit hesitant to visit these types of vineyard establishments as they can be pretentious sometimes don't deliver. Coal Valley Vineyard Restaurant was the exact opposite. Great location with best views in the valley. Service was impeccable, matched by the wine and simplicity of the menu. Not one bad dish between us all.Very reasonably priced, with the only complaint being the lukewarm coffee.I would definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend the establishment.
