The Slaves - Pollachi

- a nice little conceptual restaurant- a soccer fan will like this place- rustic and dark dining- give a touch of antique ambiance- decent food menu and polite service- friendly and helpful staffs- I will visit again on my next Pollachi trip.

What a great find this was! I ate there on my first night in Pollachi (taken there by a friend who'd been there before), and (unlike me normally), went back many times over the week I was in Pollachi. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! excellent chef Prabhu, great service, excellent food, and quite fast. Try the dragon chicken and the fish!

Simply authentic. Will go back for more. Recommended for different taste. Unique interiors. Quick service. Exclusive privacy.

We were only in Pollachi for one night so, given the good reviews, we thought we wouldn't take any chances and go for number 1. Wish we hadn't! It was very expensive and the food wasn't very good. The manager talked us out of selections we wanted (grilled fish fry, parotha) and I suspect guided us to things they had in the kitchen. The soda came with ice in and the grilled fish with salad - and we're all trained not to risk either of those! My husband's allergic to paneer, which we mentioned, but the fried mix veg was full of it. The food overall was overcooked and uninspiring. What a shame!!!

The restaurants decoration is a little different from the usual. Go see yourself! Food (indian) is excellent.
