Thunderbird - Portland

This place is a hidden gem with awesome vegan bar food. I’m especially a fan of their sliders, fries, and onion rings, which are hard to come by in Portland made vegan. They always have good slushy cocktails too! They recently renovated and made the place much bigger, and seem to be busier which is great for them. I wish they were located more central Portland but it’s worth the drive. They do have some new staff who seem to still be learning, so patience is key.

Loved the feel of this joint. Great music, crunch in chikn sliders was best I’ve had. We had FOPO and buffalo-both delicious. Good variety on tap but not 99 , which I respect! Only downside smoking outside made us sit inside.

I’ve been here quite a few times and everything is always great! And it’s so cheap compared to other places

They’ve improved their menu and have bomb vegan sliders (I haven’t tried anything else yet) and offer the vegan dream cake slice special for dessert

The food has only gotten better. I like the barbeque brussel bowl. The drinks are good and the service is great.
