Local Roots - Powell

We got the buffalo chicken dip. Loaded local burger and lemon chicken. The buffalo chicken dip was ok could have been a little more spicy. The burger was burnt on the outside and dry on the inside. Yes I did ask for it fully cooked but not black. The chicken did not have any lemon that I could taste and the potatoes where under cooked. How do you undercook a roasted potato. Put in pan cover half of water cook until water is almost gone potatoes start to turn really soft pull covering off let potatoes get some color. Also really could not taste the garlic on them. You can tell that they just put garlic powder on top of the potatoes. Also the chicken was definitely reheated it was not cooked fresh. The bottom of it was hard like it was cooked in the microwave.

Very recommended. We were in Columbus the weekend and someone told us we should try. Food was great and the music outside was great. The staff was also very nice. We had the honey chipotle hummus, veggie pizza, house salad and took carrot cake to go. We will definitely come back.

Astounding food, our server was an amazing gentleman named Jerami, because his speed to his open friendliness was amazing for me, it was the best service I ever had. Eating, I personally tried the Walleye and the Margherita Pizza and both entrees were absolutely impeccable, the Lamb Lollipops as well. With every dessert made in the house and produced everything from wines to food on site, this restaurant is nothing but amazing to enjoy

Delicious drinks! The Campfire martini was amazing! Really beautiful atmosphere and very diverse menu- many possibilities for everyone. Beautiful little jewel in the heart of downtown Powell.

We sat right away and served so fast. We shared the rustic Bruschetta as an appetizer. I have the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I thanked the server for knowing that half a part was an option because I couldn't even eat half the salad. My husband got the cod and it was delicious. The chicken and the fish were both perfectly cooked.
