Shalimar The Indian Lounge - Pukekohe

For the first time in a long time I went out for dinner and enjoyed all 3 of the courses! And thats a big deal because I am sooo fussy. Thank you to The Longkeeper in Pukekohe! To start I had the pulled pork soft shell taco OH MY GOD YUUUM! This was followed by the eye fillet which was cooked to perfection! And finished off with the lemon tart that came with a delicious manuka ice cream D E L I C I O U S! The staff were really friendly and attentive. They all smiled and engaged in conversation but wernt pesky or overbearing. One of the waitresses recommended the crispy potato skins which were also to die for. The interior looks amaaazing, like you just stepped into the city and was so fresh and clean. I loved the family style dining tables with bench seats down the middle of the dining area. Everything was reasonably priced and they had a fantastic beer and wine selection. This was comfort food at its best! I could not fault it which is something worth telling! Thanks again to The Longkeeper. And if you havnt been already get your butts down there and check it out!

Wonderful staff food was lovely and quick , enjoyed our meal with our wee 17 month old. The waiter we had was very doting and great at his job. Highly recommend this place

We love The Longkeeper! The best food, service and friendly staff. We struggle if we go anywhere else because we love it so much. While all the staff are great, Hamind is particularly excellent with his service and always has time for a chat. Thanks guys!
