Avaliação da contribuiçãoWas actually hungry and left hungry. 3 scallops for $50!? And they were rubber. Terrible. I would never have eaten here had it not been connected to the hotel. What a disappointment.
We arrived late at the Alt Hotel and were happy to be able to have dinner on the outdoor patio on a beautiful, hot, summer’s eve. With twinkling lights all around. This is our first vacation in 22 months due to the pandemic and are happy that restaurants are finally open. Several servers welcomed us and provided very attentive service. The food was sooo good. We enjoyed the Beef Tartar which came with salad and the best French fries. I had the Caesar Salad which came in a deconstructed presentation. It had large wedges of Romaine lettuce, long thin strips of crispy bacon, shaved chunks of Parmesan and then thinly crisp wafers of toasted Parmesan. The dressing was rich and creamy with the addition of some rich flavours. We would definitely recommend this place and come back again.
I have had breakfast here on a few occasions when staying at the Alt hotel next door. Never had a great breakfast but last week was particularly disappointing. My eggs Benedict were not poached but hard boiled like. Dry and over cooked. The ham was tasteless shredded porc. The only redeeming feature was friendly and attentive service. I can’t recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
My eggs were overcooked, the bacon was more than ordinary, the usual sorting of fruits, only one piece of bred and the coffee was not great. The only thing good was the service.
Classique! Comme toujours merveilleux ! We treated ourselves to the chef's truly interesting foie Gras, salmon tartare and steak tartare.... they were delicious... Great to have great BC wines too! Burrowing Owl!
