Sushi nicky - Québec

We wanted to have a nice evening and have a good sushi but we were really disappointed with the experience. We took the All-you-can-eat menu. There was a good diversity of sushi. On the other hand, I found that too much of their sushi contained tempura. their tempura left a dry taste in the mouth, which often ruined the sushi flavors that could probably have been good. The only good maki were those without tempura. No sashimi, only nigiris, because the fish without a good (!) dose of rice does not fill our belly seemingly: the sushi of the moment at the escolar was excellent. the shrimps tempura also very good but came over too many sauces. Their sushi was pretty tasteless. it was impossible to know what sushi fried we were going to have because their pieces were made and pre fried by another company. the order of these pieces was therefore always a surprise. We tried three or four different. The service was very slow. they prepare your entire order and bring it to you. Then another waiting period for the preparation of the entire sushi plate. If you don't finish all the pieces ordered, you have to pay an extra fee of $1.50 per piece. at this price at least they pack them to bring. It's much more expensive than the usual price of $1 per piece for this kind of restaurant. We're talking about $1.50 even for a hosomaki! It was also very hot in the restaurant. We were told that the air-conditioned air did not provide enough when the restaurant was full during hot days. Positive points: superb presentation of the first ordered dishes (see photos). There's a nice terrace. We can bring his wine.Bref, maybe the standard menu is better but I really don't recommend the all-you-can-eat menu.

Big plates of sushi, freshly made and fresh tasting. A bring your own drink restaurant, primarily sushi with some other things like calamari. Some very tasty stuff, nothing exceptional but all good.

We were pleasantly surprised by the choices of the chef.Diversity, very nice presentation and quality of food. The restaurant deserves improvements, the sharpness of the place and its decoration slightly reduced the final note. However, this should not prevent you from trying this restaurant.
