Arrived in Kundasang in the afternoon and decided to have early dinner here. The cook was willing to tweak the menu to cater for our vegetarian needs which was great. We ordered the small portion of buttered oyster mushrooms, ginger sautéed romaine and omelette with white rice. The food wast good. I especially loved the mushrooms because it was crispy and yet had that creamy taste, which went perfectly with the white rice. The sautéed romaine was done perfectly, even with our request to omit the garlic. The vegetables were fresh, which must have been why everything tasted so great. Omelette was good too. The Chinese tea was fragrant and refreshing too. The restaurant was simple and clean. If you sit in the back tables, you'll get a good view of the mountains. Overall, a five
Better just change the restaurant name to SS Flies Chinese Restaurant. Extremely unpleasant because of the swarms of flies. You just cannot eat, 90% of your focus is to shoo the flies, only 10% for eating. If you want to learn not to touch your phone during meal time, this is the place, because you just cannot ignore the swarms of flies. I really wonder, why KKM or other local authority bodies not giving this place notice to close. They don't even have any effort to counter and properly handle the situation.
The ONLY EDIBLE CHINESE RESTAURANT!!! No kidding!!!
