Sydvest - Rauma

A very beautiful surprise in Rauma! The restaurant has a very cozy environment with beautiful and experimental taste. We have white fish (a keviche) and scallops for appetizers, and risotto and duck confit for net. The starters were good ideas, with each different ingredient treated very nicely. Although overall the two starters seemed a bit unripe enough ideas. But the main dishes were very good! The Risotto was with truffle, Jerusalem artichoke and winter apple, and every ingredient was very nice to add. The duck was with Beluga lenses and haricot beans. The duck was very well cooked, and the rest of the ingredients gave a very good balance to the dish. If you visit Rauma, you should pay a visit to Sydvest.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of the old Rauma. The atmosphere is very beautiful. The stuff is always polite (and even ask for allergies). The food is delicious. Every time I'm in Rauma, I try to come by and I'll never be deceived

After I only heard the good things about this place I went there with excitement to taste some great food. I had made a medium Black Angus Steak, but it didn't meet my expectations. The taste was simply not the best and if I compare it with the other steaks I tried, I simply can't give it more than 3 stars. However, the service and the atmosphere is really nice.

A small restaurant full of pleasant surprises. The intimate ambience combined with the professionalism of the staff and especially the chef in the preparation and presentation of the menu raises everything at the art level. A dinner spent alone or with your family or friends will surely not forget about it. Congratulations!
