Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe stopped at this restaurant on our way to Florida after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. The location is quite simple, just as other reviewers have mentioned. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. I will definitely make a point to stop by again when I head back north in July.
Based on our friends' recommendation, we decided to have lunch here on Friday. The restaurant had 7 tables inside, and the server was very friendly. We started with fried green beans and pickles, which were delicious. For the main course, we couldn't go wrong with the shovel or sandwich options. The food was tasty and affordable. If I lived nearby, I would definitely dine here regularly.
We were extremely pleased with our dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious; I ordered the pulled pork with baked beans and coleslaw, while my partner had the pulled pork with green beans and macaroni and cheese. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was arranged in a way that was attentive to safety measures during the pandemic.
Small inside with 6 or 7 tables, but also tables outside under the trees. we had a group of 20 plus and went in and ordered and brought us out. Eating was really good with a good sort.
My husband and I ate at thatchers at least three times a month. It is close to where we live, and we love many things on their menu. One of my favorites is actually their salads! They are huge and full of good things for you. They actually have a lemon dressing that is really good. My husband loves the stuffed baked potatoes. The building is small, so you may have to wait but it is well worth it.
