Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe person working there was nice. It took an extremely long time. The food quality was not great. The vegetables were frozen. I found this place since it was one of the few that showed up for healthy food options in the area. It?s mainly a vitamin andprotein powder shop that has a kitchen in the back. Pretty spendy for what you get.
I was looking for healthy places to eat at and I ran into fit house cafe. First time there, only one lady is working there. I asked her a few questions about their food and smoothies and all she would say is that she doesn?t know. However, I ordered achicken wrap and took a while to get my food. I feel like the young lady in the headscarf was just very moody that day, whoknows. The wrap was dry, not seasoned, the wrap kept falling out of place and wasn?t folded right. Not coming back again.
I had a great experience on my first visit today! I ordered a 16oz "Get Your Peanuts Here" whey protein dessert shake and a vegan soy chorizo wrap, both of which were incredibly delicious! I'm so glad to see there are vegan and vegetarian options, which is why I came in the first place! I also appreciated that the wrap was cut in half, making it easier to portion and save some for later. I will definitely be coming back more often!
I waited over 30 minutes for my food, and by the time it arrived, I had lost my appetite. I probably won’t be returning. It would have been helpful to receive a warning about the wait time. I understand that the food is made fresh, but they really need to implement a better system.
As for the café itself, it does come across as a work in progress. There are items like energy drinks and protein powders that don’t seem to have a designated spot. However, the menu features a fantastic selection of food, and as I mentioned, everything I’ve tried so far has been wonderful. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing change from their usual meals.
